2010 Season soon to commence

Touch will start on Thursday, June 3rd (6:30pm) and runs until Thursday, August 5th. Again, for this year the venue for this event this will be Moakley Park in South Boston.

Every Thursday from June thru August sees the running of the Annual Summer Touch season in Boston. With huge ongoing interest, it is already a great success.

Make sure you are on our email list for more immediate information as it arises.(see signup panel at bottom of this page) New to the sport or dont have a team, then dont worry, we can connect you with others who may be short team members or, we can create new teams.

Details for 2010 We would like to extend our invitation to the 2010 Summer Touch Rugby League that will take place every Thursday starting on June 3rd until August 5th, at Moakley Park in the South Boston at 6:30pm. Playing space may be tight this year with the ongoing construction in the park, but we believe we have secured enough playing space to have a great 2010 season! We also are taking steps to ensure we get started as close to 6.30 as possible so we can get the maximum number of games in each night.

So, June 3rd will be here before you know it. We encourage your team to register soon or sign up as individual players. Every team needs to have at least 2 women register. Registration begins immediately. The registration fees are as follows:

Team Registration: $200

Individual Registration: $25

High School Team Registration: $100

Some background information:

From humble beginnings in 2004 Touch Rugby in Boston has exploded. It is an easy game to understand, is outdoors oriented and has minimal physical contact. There are currently around 200 participants in this league and it has generated a lot if interest in the Boston area. After five years we are stronger than ever, we hope you will join us for a successful 2010 season.

Event Notes: Location is Moakley Park in South Boston. Nearest T stop - JFK (red Line).

Registration begins around 6pm.

You can enter as an individual or as a team. Come along and participate in the fastest growing after work sport/league in the country.
